AdvisorAdventures™ is an independently owned and operated travel advisory business, currently based in Colorado, and affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc. as a preferred travel advisor partner. You can reach us at nancy.fry@fora.travel.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically as you browse the Site.
Information you provide. When you submit a form on the Site — such as our travel consultation intake form or our client review form — we collect what you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, travel preferences and trip details, and any review text or feedback you choose to share. These forms are processed through Formspree, a third-party form service, and delivered to us by email.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, time on site, general location (city/region level), device and browser type, and referring website. This information is aggregated and does not directly identify you.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the travel planning services you request;
- Communicate with you about your trip, our services, or — if you opt in — our newsletter and travel tips;
- Publish client reviews and testimonials, but only with your explicit consent given at the time you submit a review;
- Improve the Site's content, usability, and performance;
- Meet our legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
5. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Services
The Site includes affiliate links and recommendations for third-party products and services — including tours and activities through GetYourGuide and travel insurance quotes through Faye — for which we may earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. These pages are clearly marked with a disclosure. If you click through to a third-party site, that company's own privacy policy governs any information you provide there — we encourage you to review it. If we launch digital products (such as the Travel ROI Reset™ workbook), purchases will be processed by a third-party checkout provider (such as Gumroad), which handles your payment information directly — we do not receive or store your card details.
6. Our Relationship With Fora Travel
AdvisorAdventures™ operates as an independent affiliate advisor of Fora Travel, Inc. When we book travel on your behalf, certain booking and traveler information may be shared with Fora Travel and its supplier network solely to arrange, confirm, and service your trip. Fora Travel maintains its own privacy practices for information processed through its booking platform.
8. Data Retention & Security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices & Rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to remove a published review, at any time by emailing nancy.fry@fora.travel. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we will respond to verified requests consistent with those requirements.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
